What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. Price Gap uses cookies to keep you signed in and to understand how the service is used so we can improve it.

Essential cookies

These cookies are required for the service to function. You cannot opt out of them while using Price Gap.

• Supabase auth cookies- keep your session active between page loads. Set on sign-in, cleared on sign-out. No expiry date beyond your session unless “remember me” is used.
• Theme preference - stores your light/dark mode choice in localStorage, not a cookie. Never sent to our servers.

Analytics cookies

These cookies help us understand usage patterns. They are loaded via Google Tag Manager and include:

• Google Analytics 4 - page views, session duration, traffic sources. Data is stored by Google and retained for 14 months by default.
• Microsoft Clarity - session recordings and heatmaps. Recordings are anonymised - input field contents are not captured. Data is retained by Microsoft for 13 months.
• PostHog - product analytics and feature usage. Data is processed within the EU. Retained for 12 months.

Analytics cookies are currently loaded for all visitors. We are implementing a consent management system that will allow you to opt out before tracking begins. In the meantime, you can block analytics cookies using your browser’s privacy settings or a content blocker such as uBlock Origin.

Third-party cookies set by embedded content

Price Gap does not embed videos, maps, or social widgets. No third-party cookies from social networks or media platforms are set.

Managing cookies

You can view and delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Clearing cookies will sign you out of Price Gap.
